Parent Psychoeducation
Navigating your child’s diagnosis can feel overwhelming, especially when trying to understand how it impacts their daily life, learning, and behavior. I offer parent psychoeducation sessions designed to help you make sense of your child’s unique challenges and strengths, giving you the information and tools you need to confidently support them.
These sessions focus on:
Understanding your child’s diagnosis: Whether your child is diagnosed with autism, ADHD, a learning disability, or another diagnosis, I will break down what it means in practical terms, helping you understand how it may affect your child’s development, behavior, and emotions.
Practical strategies: Learn evidence-based approaches to address common challenges, such as managing meltdowns, fostering social skills, supporting focus and learning, and building routines that work for your family.
Advocacy and resources: Gain insight into navigating educational systems, accessing accommodations, and finding additional resources to support your child’s growth and success.
Answering your questions: Every child and family is unique. I provide a space where you can ask questions about your child’s diagnosis and receive guidance tailored to your specific situation.
Parenting can be challenging, but you do not have to do it alone. These sessions are here to provide clarity, guidance, and reassurance, so you can feel more confident in understanding and supporting your child’s needs.
